At Midwest Homes , We build two types of homes:
Modular Homes - also known as I.R.C. or international residential code. This is the same code all site built homes follow.
Manufactured Homes or H.U.D. Homes - A quality home built to Housing and Urban Development code.
The words pre-fab, modular homes, off-site constructed or manufactured homes can be confusing. Homeowners, developers and traditional builders sometimes struggle with the image of a home on wheels or sitting on concrete blocks. Midwest Homes utilizes factory construction to build modular homes that are, in fact, manufactured but look nothing like a "trailer". Modular homes of today, are built to the International Residential Code (IRC), same requirements as a site built homes on site at a lower cost.
Financing a Modular Home is no different than a site built home. Our Financing partners have many loan products available. Whether your building on your own land or starting from scratch. Let us help you make your plans a reality.

There's no limit on the number of repairs
Call as often as you need. The Manufactured Home Limited Warranty reimburses you for both labor and material for unlimited repairs on defective items, up to the actual cash value of the home. It also reimburses the replacement cost for items beyond repair, due to defects in material, workmanship or installation as outlined in your limited warranty.
You pay only a deductible
A low $100 deductible applies for any repair or replacement of covered items due to defects (if the item is not covered by a manufacturer’s warranty). This deductible varies by state and applies to each loss and each covered component.
Coverage is transferable
If you sell your home, you may transfer your coverage to the buyer — with the assurance of continuous protection for the remainder of the contract. This feature can add significantly to the marketability and resale value of your home!
